  1. Initial check-in: we review your goals, issues, and vehicle use.
  2. Teardown & cleaning: complete disassembly, hot-tank/ultrasonic cleaning, and inspection.
  3. Machining: cylinders, decks, crank, rods, and heads machined to OEM-or-better specs.
  4. Mock-up & measurements: clearances verified and documented prior to final assembly.
  5. Final assembly: short or long block assembled with proper lube, torque specs, and procedures.
  6. Pickup & break-in: we review break-in recommendations and any supporting documentation.

Turnaround depends on parts availability and machine work required, but most rebuilds fall in the 2–4 week range once all components are on hand. We can give a better estimate after teardown and inspection.

Yes. We stand behind our machine work and assembly with a written warranty when parts and assembly are supplied by Hauser. We’ll go over details with you before we begin your build.

In many cases, yes—for example pistons, rods, cams, and gaskets from reputable brands. We still reserve the right to inspect and decline components that don’t meet our standards for your application.
